Competition looks tough, but we never claimed we would win. Seriously, some people brought in huge Viking ships, pontoon boats, Star Wars replica ships…I don’t think these people get out of the house much.
We also took a good look at the quality of Tempe Town Lake water. If we don’t win, I just find satisfaction in knowing that people will be swimming in this water when boats sink/flip.
On a related topic, how about comic misinterpretation . Turns out that REI employees can misunderstand the question, “Do you sell really cheap oars?”, and interpret it as my request for a woman of ill repute.
